TAKE YOUR FISRT BREATH’S UNDERWATER
Have you ever dreamed of exploring the underwater world? If you want to realize this dream without taking a long course, the Discover Scuba Diving is for you. During the morning training, we will present the material, its use and the safety rules. An instructor will teach you to use the material so you can familiarize yourself with it in the pool before diving in the sea.
In the afternoon, You will go diving for 2 dives (12m max / 40 feet max) with one of our instructor. During your dives in the sea, you will encounter moray eels, turtles, barracuda and many other tropical fishes.
Prerequisites
To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
If the participant answers yes to any of the medical questions listed then a signed clearance from a doctor, valid within 12 months will be required.
Academics
The PADI Discover scuba diving consists of three main phases:
- For about 30 minutes you will watch video that will introduce you to the underwater world, scuba equipment and the rules of diving safety.
- Afterwards, you will go in the pool with one of our instructors to learn how to use the diving equipment, underwater communication and the basics of moving underwater.
- In the afternoon, you will go diving in the ocean in Playa del carmen for 2 reef dives (max 12m / 40 feet) with one of our instructor
Schedule
SCHEDULE (1 day)
The Discover Scuba Diving has 3 mains steps and you can enjoy this experience in 1 day:
- 8:30am – 9:30am : Paper work + theory with a video session
- 9:30am-10:30am : Swimming pool training to be comfortable
- 1:15pm – 5pm : 2 ocean dives in Playa del Carmen
Included
- Scuba Equipment + tanks + weight. (BCD, Wetsuit 3mm, Regulator, mask, fins, tanks and weight).
- If you want to start to use you own equipment, you can bring it with you.
- Video and theory session
- Pool lessons (1 modules)
- 2 ocean dives in Playa del Carmen
- Water and snacks between the dives
